How To Create Your Own Object Relational Chart

This is how I do it. You may be able to skip a step or two if you're smarter then me.

My Materials:

(Keep in pouch; Don't use for anything else or it will mysteriously vanish)

  1. KJV Bible (no copyright issues)
  2. Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue Highlighters
  3. Blank typing paper
  4. Clipboard
  5. 0.5mm Mechanical pencil
  6. Soft, fat eraser
  7. Bound notebook (blank pages with no lines).
  8. Computer with a simple paint program.

My Procedure:

  1. Highlight in a King James Version Bible:
    1. People & objects : Blue
    2. Places : Orange
    3. Time : Green
    4. Key Ideas : Red
    5. Subordinate Ideas : Yellow

I most often do a chapter or less at a time.

  2. Sketch diagram on blank paper
  3. Copy final sketch to bound book
  4. Create equivalent with paint program. Save in GIF or TIF format.
  5. Double check that nothing is missing or added.
  6. Submit to Biblephile.org for publication.
